What world they came from: Fullmetal Alchemist
Birthday (if known): Unknown
Age: Around 400
Species: Human/Alchemist
Occupation: Alchemist/Apothecary

Appearance: Dante currently appears to be a pretty, petite young woman with short dark brown hair, violet eyes and pale skin. Her body shows signs of decay, however, skin rotting away in a handful of places. Because of this, she smells like rotting flesh. She dresses to cover her physical condition, however, favoring high necked and long sleeved Victorian gowns.

Special abilities/talents: Dante is an extremely skilled alchemist, meaning she can transmute substances into other things. But she is bound by the laws of science. She can only manipulate elements and matter in a manner that is scientifically possible. She is also bound by the law of Equivalent Exchange - she cannot create something that is greater to the materials she uses. Only something equal to them. She's also a skilled herbalist, well versed in pharmaceuticals and poisons, a theologian, and an expert ballroom dancer, pianist, seamstress and singer. Along with those skills, she's a master of manipulation. She lies, tricks, deceives and manipulates on a level that's almost mind boggling. (The woman has had centuries to hone her skills.)

Quirks: Dante has very few true quirks - most that we see are adapted to lead people to believe she's something she's not. But one consistent is her habit of toying with her hair when nervous, and scowling or pouting when her plans are disrupted. It's one of the few times she shows her true emotions. When upset she taps her foot and scowls. She's also shown sighing frequently when bored or irritated. These are usually only displayed either when she's completely lost her composure, or when around those who know her true nature.

Personality: Dante is a complicated woman. She obviously craves power and knowledge, wanting immortality and complete control and to further her skills as an alchemist - despite being one of the most skilled to live as is. But she denies that this is for herself, claiming she needs to do so in order to teach mankind important lessons. But it's clear she;s motivated by selfish desires. She wants power and eternal life, and the man she loves. Or, if not him, his son. She's fine with the next best thing - she has a great attraction to pretty young people, both male and female. She kills, ruins, destroys entire civilizations and manipulates governments, religions and individuals to get what she wants. And she feels no shame or guilt for any of this. All of this she does to force someone else to create a Philosopher's Stone, so she can continue to live. She is selfish, petty, greedy and her moral compass is all her own. She truly believes she's doing nothing wrong, and is doing mankind a favor - by driving and manipulating unwitting alchemists to create the Philosopher's Stone, she's reminding mankind of the dangers in tampering with alchemy that relies on flesh and blood.

Sexual orientation: Anything young and beautiful. Dante shows a perverse interest in both young men and young women over the course of the series.
